ΣAM chapters know how to put the “fun” in fundraising. In addition to the Walk to End Alzheimer's and No Shave November, Sammys plan and host other awareness and fundraising events that benefit The Judy Fund.
Some of their creative events include:

- pizza parties
- Jacks for Judy, a pumpkin carving contests
- Sammy Sandcastles, a sandcastle building competition
- poker tournaments
- Pie A Sammy, pie-throwing contest
- Soak A Sammy, water-balloon throwing competition
- petting zoos
