Healthy People 2030
Healthy People 2030 (HP2030) — with its 62 topic areas and 355 objectives — is the framework that sets the nation's health prevention and promotion goals for the next decade.
HP2030 focuses public health attention on cognitive impairment through the dementias topic area. The 2030 framework includes three objectives designed to:
- Increase diagnosis and diagnosis disclosure of Alzheimer's and other dementias.
- Reduce preventable hospitalizations among people living with dementia.
- Enhance communication between health care providers and people experiencing memory issues.
