An avid sailor, golfer, skier, tennis player, gardener and tinkerer, Bill loved the great outdoors. He passed away at the age of 88 due to complications from Alzheimer's.
After attending the Maritime Academy in New York and serving in World War II, Bill received an engineering degree and made a career as a production engineer, residing in Atherton with his wife Barbara and their four children, Bill Jr., Steve, Teri and Lauren.
A native Californian and loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, his four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
